We perform the following outpatient and inpatient surgical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures:
Endoscopic laser therapy for the treatment of
- Cancer of the ureter, renal pelvis and urinary bladder
- Urethral strictures (in the case of congenital or acquired strictures of the upper and lower urinary tract)
- Genital warts (condylomata accuminata)
- Penile tumors (precancerous lesions of the penis)
Laser therapy (laser lithotripsy) for the
- Urinary stone disintegration (urinary bladder, urethra, ureter and kidney pelvic stone)
Genital surgery on
- Testis (tumor, cyst)
- Epididymis
Circumcisions (circumcision)
Sterilization (vasectomy)
Incontinence surgery in women (O-TVT insertion) - the surgical placement of a plastic band below and to the side of the female pubic tube in the form of a loop to prevent involuntary leakage of urine (female stress urinary incontinence).
Transurethral prostate resection (TURP) - endoscopic removal (resection) of prostate tissue by means of an electric loop
Transurethral bladder tumor resection (TURB) - endoscopic removal (resection) of urinary bladder tumor tissue by means of an electric loop
Brachytherapy (iodine seed implantation): minimally invasive procedure for the treatment of organ-confined prostate cancer. Detailed information on brachytherapy for prostate cancer can be found in the section Brachytherapy.
Implementation in IATROS Clinic and Urological Clinic Planegg
All outpatient and inpatient surgical procedures are performed - depending on the indication - at the IATROS Clinic in Nymphenburger Straße in Munich or at the Urological Clinic Planegg in Planegg/Munich. Brachytherapy is performed in Planegg.
Dr. Meisse performs other major surgical procedures in urology in cooperation with his colleagues at the urological clinic in Planegg.
