Urology as an independent medical specialty developed out of general surgery several decades ago. It deals primarily with diseases of the urinary and urine-diverting organs - which include the kidneys, bladder, ureter and urethra - in men, women and children. In addition, urology diagnoses and treats diseases of the male reproductive organs. These include testicles, epididymis, seminal vesicle, vas deferens, penis and prostate.

The technical equipment of our private practice allows a comprehensive diagnostic clarification without additional appointments, referrals or long waiting times.

Both in diagnostics and in therapy, we prefer to use non-invasive or minimally invasive methods. Non-invasive or minimally invasive means "not penetrating the body at all or as little as possible". This has the advantage of less stress and faster healing.

If outpatient or inpatient surgical procedures are required as part of a diagnosis or treatment in our private urological practice, these are also performed directly by us as outpatient or inpatient procedures in the  IATROS Clinic in Nymphenburger Straße or in the Urolgische Klinik Planegg in Planegg / Munich.
